Anne Steenbergh is a senior policy officer at the Dutch Board for the Authorisation of Plant Protection Products and Biocides (Ctgb). With a background in microbial ecology (PhD, Utrecht University/NIOO), she focuses on policy development and regulatory frameworks for sustainable plant protection products.
Her work aims to improve risk assessment approaches for low-risk and biocontrol substances and thereby accelerate the access to market of these plant protection products within the EU context. She is actively involved in research and innovation projects and regularly contributes to international discussions on regulation and assessment.
