Dr. Wenlin Chen is a Syngenta Fellow of Science and Technology based in North Carolina, USA. He specializes in mathematical modeling of chemical environmental fate and transport, with 25+ years of experience in pesticide research for agrochemical safety assessment. He holds a Ph.D. in Soil Science from Cornell University and has authored over 100 scientific publications and presentations. He has been involved in and contributed to the development of pesticide exposure models and ecological risk assessment methodologies in the U.S. and internationally, including through the IUPAC Advisory Committee on Crop Protection Chemistry.
